What is Fintegris?
Fintegris is an AI-native regulatory compliance platform designed for South African FSPs. It is built to automate and evidence the compliance lifecycle — RMCP, customer due diligence, sanctions and PEP screening, ongoing monitoring, and regulatory reporting — under FICA, FAIS and POPIA.
Which regulations and obligations is it designed to cover?
The South African framework: FICA (CDD, the risk management and compliance programme, and suspicious-transaction reporting to the FIC via goAML), FAIS conduct and compliance reporting to the FSCA, POPIA data protection, and Guidance Notice 7A. Coverage is delivered progressively as the platform moves through development and the IFWG Sandbox.
Is Fintegris available now?
Not yet. Fintegris is in development and not yet available for commercial deployment. An IFWG Regulatory Sandbox application was submitted in July 2026 and a determination is pending. Licensed FSPs can register interest to be considered for the pilot.
Who is Fintegris for?
Micro to mid-tier FSPs — from a solo key individual up to firms of roughly 50–200 staff, across Category I and II. Subscription tiers (Essential, Growth, Professional and Enterprise) are designed to match firm size and needs.
How much will it cost?
Indicative tiers range from R4,500 to R18,000 per month depending on firm size and entitlements, billed monthly in advance or annually (prepaid), with a one-time onboarding setup fee. Final commercial terms are confirmed at launch.
Where is my data hosted, and is it secure?
Fintegris is designed to run on AWS in the Cape Town region (af-south-1) for South African data residency under POPIA, with encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access control, and an immutable audit trail via S3 Object Lock. These controls are being implemented and validated through development and the Sandbox process.
Does the AI make compliance decisions on its own?
No. Fintegris is designed with a human-in-the-loop review gate: the AI prepares, scores and explains, but a person authorises material decisions. Risk scoring is designed to be explainable (using techniques such as SHAP/LIME). Accountability remains with the FSP and its officers.
How are identity verification and screening handled?
Identity verification for SA clients is designed to use VerifyNow (Home Affairs checks, face-match and liveness, CIPC/company data), while sanctions, PEP, adverse-media screening and transaction monitoring are designed to use ComplyAdvantage. Fintegris fuses these signals in its own risk engine under a human review gate.
Do I need technical skills to get started?
No. Onboarding is designed to be Didusec-led, so you don't need in-house IT, and technical support is provided. Where you work through a Fintegris partner, that partner supports the relationship while Didusec delivers the platform.
Will it replace my compliance officer?
No. Fintegris is designed to support the compliance function — reducing manual effort and improving evidence and consistency — not to replace your compliance officer or remove human accountability. Nothing it produces is compliance or legal advice.
